To maintain high standards in the overall caliber of vendors on Savio, respond to buyer demand for skills, services, and expertise, and to drive transactional success, Savio conducts a manual review of every vendor application submitted for verification and approval.

Provided you meet the universal minimum requirements for joining as a vendor at the time of submitting your vendor application, the 4-step approval process typically takes less than 7 days to complete from when Savio receives all the evidence requested for verification.

1. Submit Vendor Application

Once submitted, you'll received a 'Welcome to Savio' email containing a temporary autogenerated password and hyperlink for confirm your email address, which will be your username. Please check junk or spam folders and contact us if you've not received this welcome email within 24 hours.

2. Verification & Approval

Confirming your email address will trigger the verification and approval process, during which Savio will take reasonable steps to verify you have the skills, technologies, and areas of expertise listed in your vendor application by cross-checking them against publicly available sources and/or requesting evidence that adequately demonstrates your proficiency in those capabilities. Adding your LinkedIn Profile URL to your vendor application will help make process as quick and thorough as possible.

To satisfy regulatory compliance requirements, Savio will request evidence of your business or company registration, valid business insurance policy, and confirm how you conduct your business banking to facilitate the next stage.

If you are not approved right away, don't be disheartened as this doesn't necessarily mean you are not qualified, but that there isn't sufficient demand for the skills and services you're offering at the time. We encourage you to keep your vendor profile updated as we'll search vendors profiles pending approval when the demand for skills or types of project change.

3. Vendor Onboarding

Congratulations! Reaching this stage means your vendor application has been verified and approved and will shortly be visible to buyers as an approved vendor profile.

We'll share the Approved Vendor Onboarding Pack outlining how to make the most of the approved vendor profile types and features, enhance your profile to stand out for success and what happens next.

4. Ready to Work

With your vendor profile now visible to buyers and searchable by skills, technologies, areas of expertise and location (where essential for project delivery), you can stand by for invitations from Buyers and Project Owners to view* project briefs and consider them before indicating your interest.

*Most project briefs will be subject to an NDA, with a basic overview available pre-NDA. The full project brief and confidential details, such as the Buyer, will be released to vendors post-NDA, enabling informed decisions on their capacity and capability to deliver the project to a high standard.

5. Vendor Selection & Savio Reels

Depending on the availability of vendors, the selection process may rely solely on the vendor submitting a full project proposal, or an additional shortlisting stage via Savio Reels, whereby vendors introduce themselves to the buyer or project owner and answer a few project-related questions in a pre-recorded video of no longer than 5 minutes.

Savio Reels help buyers and project owners select the best suited vendors for their projects and significantly increases vendor's chances of winning projects while saving valuable time and effort on proposal writing where there may be multiple vendors available and interested in a particular project.
