You can end your contract with a project owner at any time. Ending a contract removes you from the project. You can still communicate with the project owner, send invoices, and review the project owner after ending the contract. You could even submit a new proposal after the current contract on a project.

To end a contract with a project owner:

  1. Select Projects from the left navigation menu.
  2. Select the My Jobs tab. My Jobs shows a list of projects for which you or one of your companies has been invited to bid or had a proposal accepted.
  3. Click on the project name for the project on which you want to end the contract. The project page displays information about the selected project.
  4. From the project management toolbar above the chat log, choose End Contract. The End Contract dialog appears.
  5. Choose End Contract to end the current contract.
