The Technologies tab of the Project / Edit page allows you to specify required knowledge or experienece of any particular software applications, tools, or platforms for the completion of the project. These indicate to experts what applications they need to be familiar with to complete the work for the project.

Technologies are organized into technology types and listed alphabetically. They represent experience with specific software applications, tools, and platforms that may be required for your project. Each technology type has multiple applications listed underneath. Click on the arrow to the left of the checkbox to expand the list of technologies.

Note: When searching for experts for your project, Savio automatically filters experts based on the selected technologies. You may manually clear or modify this filter, as desired.

To select the required technologies for a project:

Note: If there are no specific technologies required for your project, you may skip this tab. Choose Save & Continue to navigate to the next tab, or select the next applicable tab.

  1. Select the checkbox to the left of the technology name to select it as a required technology. Click the arrow or type name to expand the list of applications for that technology type. Selecting the checkbox next to a techniology type heading selects all applications contained within that type.

    Note: You may search for specific technologies using the search box. As you enter the technology name in the search box, the list of technologies is filtered to show matching technologies.

  2. Once you have selected all of the required technologies, choose Save & Continue to save the required technologies and navigate to the next tab. The Expertise tab of the Project / Edit page is displayed.

Note: Any changes made in a tab are not saved until you click Save & Continue. Be sure to click Save & Continue on each tab to save any changes made on that tab.
